Mega Patch v 5.0 is a community patch for the Half-Life 2 Beta, which contains many useful fixes in one package.
It is highly recommended that you install this patch, because most of fixed maps uses content from it.



You can install the patch on "clean" versions of the HL2 Beta, with no engine patches, or on the patched version with engine patches, such as LeakNet or The Axel Project. We certainly recommend installing on LeakNet.
Also, during installation, you are given a choice of which model era to install: 1) leave the original models, with fixes 2) install models of the 2000-2001 era 3) install models of the 2001-2002 era. 3) install 2002 era models. 4) install models 2002-2003 era. 5) install 2003 era models.
