2001-2002 Engine vs 2003 Engine

Heres mine on Borealis.
2002 vs 2003

Now i know i didnt do the BEST Job into doing this Side by Side Photo but i will just tell you the Differences.

Now it looks like the Lighting hasnt changed AT ALL. The most Noticeable Change is the mat_specular. You can see that in the 2003 Engine it Affects more on Brushes rather than on Weapons. In 2002 Mat_Specular has even more Effect to the Weapons and not that much to Brushes. I also see some Wrong Textures but that doesnt Really Matter since thats depending on the Map not the Engine. The Fire didnt Change at all. (The Screenshot with the Zombie is 2002 and the one without is taken by me on the 2003 Engine).

This just shows how the Graphics were Changed (Minimally) Thru Development.

there's not to much difference in those 2 images, as a matter of a fact there's none in my point of view
not even the Mat_Specular (don't get me wrong Mat_Specular did change but it's not that Noticeable),it could be the map,so i don't know maybe it did change a lot.

Is there a console command that activates the specular reflections from the screenshot on the left?

update on this post lol i was stupid, the crowbars model was different or the angle in 2002 and the spec map for the crowbar was more intense, just like the pipe. it also has a slightly different texture. thats literally all that changed.
