a new order of hl2 maps for a more "active gameplay"

 i do my first post ..  B-) and your forum and website are looking amazing for those who likes the game .. i found you these days by surprise ..and i do not understand why you are not more advertised..
so i am a very old player and i already made two mods for hl ..i am making a third one but i will open the discussion about it in few weeks .
my previous mods are opposing life2life and assault-strike [ they are downloadable at moddb ]
i was a member of cinematic forum , as there are few things i dislike in hl2 .. [ the infinite discussions of bots or the ending with the car in the forest..] i tried to imagine a new story by re-using maps in a other order.. and of course a redistribution of monsters in all episodes [ mostly those from ep2 ]
as i am also a fan of coop game , i made the game running in a loop ..

here is how i see it this "opposing css single player " if i can name it like that.. because i always found that hl2 is more a css single player than the following story of gordon..

the game starts as the original, the first change is after the gravity gun scene , with alyx being injured by rocks... , she need cares like after the attack in ep2..[ that were we ll see her again ]

the second change is after ravenholm -map d1_town_04 that is followed by ep2_outland_01
when player should get to the surface and kill the snipers with grenades, in fact gordon freeman gets out in the cavern of ep2 beginning where he uses a train to open an escape .
in fact of alyx being hurt . gordon has to fight after meeting the vort friend .

then the game goes to the end of ep2 . after launching rocket , instead of the dead of the alyx 's father , he takes the buggy and goes back on the road where he opens the tunnel using a magnusson device may be ... at least : the player is in the tunnel of the map where he had got the buggy in the normal hl2 : d2_coast_03 [ so the story continues ]

the next change is after the prison when gordon and alyx will hunt mossman , i see the change at last big door where they will find mossman , it is the door after the first console activated by alyx in the map : d2_prison_08 .

instead they get inside the citadelle of ep1 right after the dog robot launched them inside in map : ep1_citadel_00 .
the game goes back to hl2 at the door that normally shows the train they will take after using the electric-balls to kill all gards in map : ep1_citadel_04 , at the room where they catch mossman and later the teleporter [ right back at d2_prison_08 ]

last is at the end....instead of having Gman ending of hl2 , the game launch the ep1 part where the train full of "ex human" has derailled [ep1_citadel_04 ] [ that is the part where they are in the underground of the base in ep1 ]  [ the beginning of ep1 is skipped ] so the ep1 end is also the end of the "new hl2"  for looping the end of this new story with hl2 beginning : the part where gordon arrive in the train station ]  ;']
hurray ;']

i tried to use synergy to start checking changes in maps and help others seeing how my idea is ..
but it does not bear well the changing of map orders..

i did not tried this changes yet.. i would have liked a simple solution to do like with svencoop a map order decided in config files with simple spawn points.. instead of this complicated system of multiplayer playing like a single player with positions in between maps conserved   !mistrust
[ i mean both system are "cool" but if no change is possible .. that hurts...my project..the youngest and borderline]

so i am ready to try to create something using what i imagined with parts coming from the unused leaked hl2 .. the goal is to insert maps cleanly..  like i did with azure sheep maps in hl or opposing force..
with the first i used the map where gordon is captured , then at changelevel players spawn in the same room of azure sheep with dead grunts all around.. to re-get in hl i used the map where the player use a tube [ the following normal map of gordon after capture.. in the machine like in star-wars that compresses everything inside before ejecting it in space ]

of course , remaking maps is also a good option..
happy new year 2020 .. i hope we ll have fun and may be make a little of money with a good game ..that like bms can be offered using steam for a little amount of money ..
working for free does not pay bills .. sadly ..
