We thechnically know what F-Stop looks like since LunchHouse Software [The guys that made PUNT] are working on a series called Exposure where they showcase the original F-Stop mechanic based on Valves old code with their permission [That they technically got after releasing the original first vid (now deleted. The one in the link is an edited version), so you could kinda say it was leaked].

God damn, F-Stop in VR would be great for Valve and it's users.
By the way, do these unused textures use the same UV mapping as the door and button from Portal 1?I would like a demonstration of these textures applied to the models from Portal 1.
