Yes but I still work on it. I want to ensure a full compatible version for vanilla hl2, Filip's Update, Epsiodic and ep2. And I'm trying to figure out why vpk.exe doesn't give me a *_dir.vpk file when packaging the materials folder. Maybe a result of size !question = 1,10 GB (1.183.608.832 Bytes) yet

Some screens from d1_canals with changed skybox, grass and combined buildings!
(Both styles beta and retail, looks great in my opinion but i will try to change the colors of retail building textures)

Now i've tested episodic, ep2 and lostcoast with hl2 Update as base for the custom folder and everything works so far. (No missing materials, sounds etc.) If everything is going well i will release my beta-patch version in first quarter of next year! But Lost Coast still needs a lot of work. It isnt using all of the materials yet. And I want to say that I don't want to steal the fame from BenedictKapustin_42. As well as all of my changes are the work of other great and famous community members. Besides that, i will try to test other great Mods with that fashion, like MMod or the most hated mod by me, Cinematic Mod!

-added game sounds manifest to prevent engine on stopping lip sync in episodes
-added muzzles-particles to "OICW replacement for AR2"
-removed viewhair and plushair from vehicles and player
-Health-Kit is now Health-Vial
-no weapon name in sniper rifle gui sprite
-added muzzles-particles to all weapons
-fixed citadel light for Epsiode One
-unlocked Episode One chapter "OUR STORY SO FAR..."

+cleaned „Materials" folder from unused or duplicated files
+compatible with Half-Life 2 Update by Filip Victor
+compatible with Lost Coast, Episode One, Episode Two (also with Update as base)

Beta Aesthetics 2.0 Remastered -patch rev.MMod
ATTENTION
Needs gameinfo.txt customization to work as vanilla (valve) version
+Compatible (estimated to 85-90%) with MMod 1.3 by Gunship Mark II, Fooltaurus & sgor00
-blood decals -effects -sprites and weapon shells, rounds, carts or boxes arent integrated yet
-all weapon models from Aesthetics 2.0 are compatible but not integrated yet
-combine soldiers and elite models working but it will conflict with "Glowy Combine Eyes" Option

Oh, and I know I could've put this in the reply I posted earlier, but I didn't think of this until now. My idea is to reskin White Forest Base so it looks like Kraken Base.

I am excited about the result. The idea is good!

And all beta zombie models that will be inserted in hl2 or episodic will generate a script animation bug in the wrecked train at the beginning of "Lowlife" chapter. If you replace the regular ones (whole models/zombie folder) with another model, the zombine will no longer pull a grenade and will not die by the explosion at the glass door. There are two explosions and the one from the door is just a scripted one. The door is gone, but still blocked by an invisible wall that prevents you from getting further, as this passage is connected with the death of the zombine. Tested this with the ones from "Beta Aesthetics 2.0 Remastered" and available ported 2002-2003 models!

My idea was another post with a DL link here in the official remastered thread. If BenedictKapustin_42 likes it, he can add the link to my patch in his op. I will also put it in the addon area of moddb for hl2.
Alongside with the regular 2.0 Remastered Mod. No worries, I will mention BenedictKapustin_42 in the credits as the creator/project leader!

Yeah that's right and I did it yesterday. But if people really want to replace MDL, it will cause animation problems. I think the throw / pull grenade animation is included in normal zombie animations as I removed each model one by one and the zombine scene got messed up every time.
So no beta zombies are included yet or maybe never in my patch because i want to ensure the brilliant work for all hl2 titles! I would like to find out which model is responsible, but unfortunately I don't know what to look for. It seems "anims_classic.mdl" is the nuked one for that episodic scene!
Another strange problem is getting the weapons fucked up if I put the episodic scripts in a custom folder as well!

small update,
-solved episodic zombine problem
+previous beta zombie models were outdated for episodic
-alyx is no longer invisible when Vortigaunt carries her in ep2
and...
Vortigaunt replacements causing a lot of problems in ep2,
I am testing some out or making a non model related texture replacement

-added Vortigaunt 2004 model by Paynamia (gamebanana)
-added Beta Antlion/Guard models by MaiYass (gamebanana) to prevent animation dropouts in ep2
+updated Alyx 2002 Model with goggles (from a gmod by BraveClem/Cheryl Mason)
-increased brightness of goggles texture
-replaced white glass with recolored Combine Elite Helmet glass
-goggles strap created out of beltstrap.vtf
