So, I have been looking through this for a while, and noticed a user under the name “nillerusr” worked on a way to port the half life 2 nvidia game into a working port similar to Xash3D, and now can play the games! I decided to give it a shot when the first build was out, crashed my old tablet, however they made an update to the app, so I went to retry, finally worked... I am just saying, (and no I ain’t advertising, I just find it awesome, plus I can play portal) I would recommend y’all would have to do y’all’s own research as you need to find the nvidia main and patch obb depending on which game, I also recommend a newer android device as to my older one is making it slow. That is all :)

This topic was hyped on r/half-life and everywhere. As I remember, the version I played then was a buggie disaster. No optimization, mat_fullbright 1 everywhere. My thought on this port - buy Xiaomi Tablet with Tegra chip in it, or Buy Nintendo Switch, install Android there, and play normally in 60 fps with retail graphics

the port has somewhat evolved from that, still is glitchy but not as much as it used to be.
seems to depend on the device GPU how glitchy it will be.

Yeah, still has glitches and bugs to fix for older devices, but hey, as long as I can play some half life 2 on the go, its fine by me.  :D
