Can't play CS 7.0

Everytime i try to create a LAN server Half-Life Launcher keeps crashing. changing to software renderer mode doesn't work and even if it does it won't show me the game, only sounds. I am using version 1.0.1.6

Beta 7 requires minimum HL version of 1.1.0.0, but you can get it work on any version up to 1.1.1.0.
