Personally, I think the 2003 era is severely underrated. It's overshadowed by the oh so "dark and gritty" 2001 era.

I like the 2001 Beta the most as it seems somewhat familiar. I do like the 2001-2002 and 2002 build as well but not as much and 2003 is fun because of the playability of it having map changes.

Sad that the 2003 era is underrated. It's my favorite. I like it more than the darker and grittier 2001 era. There are noticeable differences compared to the retail. How it plays out and the layouts in some areas. The 2001 era is just a walking simulator with that not much to encounter in your way and boring in my opinion.

Kind of an underrated version (i think) is the 2002 era its really intresting to see how it went from the 2001 artstyle to the fina one
