CHEESEWORLD mod for the Half-Life 2 beta

     For a while now, I've been working on a content-based mod for the Half-Life 2 beta, which I call CHEESEWORLD. It has surrealism and ethereal spaces, not to mention very big and armed rats. It's a weird and incoherent story of its own, not Half-Life story related at all.

     The version of the mod I plan to make available is a demo that shows what I've been working on but is in no way a representation of the finished mod. There will be more maps and content, much different from what you see now.

     Since this runs on the Half-Life 2 beta it is likely to have small glitches from time to time but nothing completely game breaking, that's the way it is. The glitches I've discovered is that sometimes you cannot tab-out of the game if it's in full-screen mode or it could crash, so I recommend running the Half-Life 2 beta in windowed mode, in any situation. There are small graphical glitches I've seen occur from time to time though it's due to the Source engine jank beyond my control, sadly.

     As it stands now there are four maps: cheese_demo, cheese_bootcamp, cheese_glens, and cheese_factory. There should be working level transitions between all four maps but if the level transitions break at any time you can load each map with the map command and grant yourself and HEV suit and weapons using the give command.

     The downloads will be provided tomorrow, if not that, the day after, as I'm not sure about the rules regarding uploading mods here so I would like to make sure that I do this correctly. This is my first time posting so I apologize if I'm doing this incorrectly. Until the downloads are provided, I'll attach a few screenshots to this post and a few more in the replies.

I don't remember anyone ever releasing author's modifications to Half-life 2 beta that didn't touch on the old plot. I really hope you release this mod.
