Thanks, I really thought something broke, and Radiation Hazard's video about the dead NPCs wasn't reassuring when someone from the team said it never happened before.

So it seems antialiasing might break the beta engine even more than that. While it was disabled, I actually could play the City 17 mod without a single crash for the first time ever.

Is there any version that is just zipped as a full package without having to start an actuall installer with admin rights?

so i have a problem with my mega build when it starts to copy the smg files it starts saying that the source file or something like that is corrupted i tried everything but still every other file after this one gets the same thing
i would really be happy if someone would help me!
(sorry if something was wrong im from poland and i can do some errors at english)

Maybe the installer didn't download properly. Try to download it again and see if it still happens. If that won't help I'll just send you a torrent file of the Mega Build via PM that just downloads the folder without need for installation [+ A patch and a more up-to-date version of LeakNet.]

Try to unpack the iso just like an archive, and run autorun.exe

 I'm about to install the mega build, and have 2 questions.
1. Which build is the most finished?
2. Can I use sv_cheats?

1- there's only one beta-build if you mean maps, the most finished are the 2003 maps
2- yes you can

I have no disk drive on my PC, would it be safe to download the megabuild since it requires disk space. It says i can contiune, but i need to know if that will harm my pc

It means space on your hard drive, you should be fine as long as you have atleast 14 GB of space on your hard drive for the minimum settings
