the consequences would be in high proportion just like hl2 was,imagine tf2 brotherhood of arms or even hl3 leaked (whether it exists or not) it would be huge and probably it would be a worldwide news 

and most of  the projects would be canceled or even postpone.

    Half-life 3 does exist, mabey not in a finished state, but there is proof of an actual build of it, with the map leaks, and some source 2 HL3 code in robot repair i think

It's would be a repeat of The half-life 2 hack, except it would be over with in a month, valve would make some public statement about how they've dealt with the breach and will find the hacker, the hacker would be found in to time (this isnt the 90's anymore), As for what would be in the Repository?
Probably a bunch of Steam SDK's, some prototype games, unreleased content for valve present games,
probably a few web apis, worst case Senero Steam and Valve shutdown for a while.

that's basically what the question it's about the risk and reward of the leak, just because he asked this doesn't mean he can leak the repository or that he knows someone that can leak it.

doesn't make any sense to you go wild and say "what is wrong with you?" that's a completely normal question made by Ivan_Betaman64, nothing to judge him about it.
