Hello! Me and Xyxen from the Source Modding Community Discord have worked for hours on making this fix!

This is what you're gonna have to do!

Download "d3drm.dll" from the internet - put it in your alpha bin folder

Rename qbsp2.exe to qbsp.exe

in the WC.EXE config, only use halflife.wad - do not load the other textures

copy and paste the "valve" folder from your alpha, and then paste again to your alpha folder, rename it "prospero"

You MAY have to go copy and paste your new bsp in to the valve/maps folder because it may have ended up in your prospero folder

Now, pictures!

You are done!
Remember to launch the alpha from the Half-Life GL.bat file, not enginegl.exe

The controls to Alpha Hammer!

Now, this is probably going to be the most awkward control scheme ever in terms of hammer editions you've used! The camera is ridiculous.

My basic breakdown of the camera controls are as follows - Use the camera tool, the keys "C, D, S, and F" all control the camera in some way.

C- Zooms out
D - Zooms in
S - Rotates 180 degrees to the left
F - Rotates 180 degrees to the right
Holding Left Click - Move in a limited 360 manner
Holding Right Click - Move up or down, or left to right (Kinda)
Basically, it takes some time to get used to.

Hi! Sorry to not answer you faster. I haven't been that much into modding recently. But from what I can tell in the screenshot, it seems you didn't rename "qbsb2" to "qbsp"

Mod_LoadBrushModel: maps/test01.bsp has wrong version number (1663175291 should be 29)  Any way to fix?
