Half-Life 2 Beta: Mega Build discussion thread

i dont know what i did wrong, i did all the steps but every time i open up mod launcher and try to play half life 2 beta, it would just close the tab. maybe i need to download the original half life 2 beta files?

ok so i fixed the problem and heres how. first select the hl2.exe file, rigt click and then go to the proprety tab. then go to compatabilaty and then choose windows xp service 2 as compatabilaty mode. click on the take over button and then click on the ok button. now when you open hl2.exe it would work. and also im so so so sorry for the typos, english is not my first language.
