Half-Life 2 Beta on Linux

Would the leak work on Linux when using Proton, Lutris or Wine? or would it not work at all? I'm not sure what the render is for the leak, OpenGL or one of the earlier DirectX versions.

The missing information mod adds linux support as far as I'm aware.

The leak should work on Linux using Wine, that was tested by me a long time ago

I can confirm that beta works with wine 5.0-4 (Debian sid x86_64) without any issues.
