Part 1:Creating A mappack

After watching, please make a rough Mappack about and make sure its:
The entire thing
Rough Ideas to Fill in the gaps
Custom Models
Make sure it auto-Changelevel so i don't have to use console

So, Please can you make a mappack like this because when i found out, i wanted to play it.
So please make it.

Part 2:Why am i asking you

I am asking you because i am not good at any sort of code or mapping or anything like it so that's why i am asking.

I would also like to say that i can download seprately from mega build (mind my spellings)
Make sure you bring the thing like "The momma pod" and "depot" and The entire thing and make custom places where the video (up above comment) didn't show you.

If there is a mappack or something out like what i'm wanting because i would really like to play it
, and if there isn't, we can make are own.

I'm not an admin to tell you that, but this is a very silly message from you.  Like, really. Let me reveal the meaning of your message to you:

Let's start with the fact that in this life you won't get anything for "thank you". The admins of this forum are 25-35 years old, they have their own work, family, job, they are basically people too, and you can't offer them to make a HL2 beta for nothing. They do it of their own accord. And no one is in the brave to order anything to them (except the government). And besides, their goal is to restore the engine, models, textures and maps, and not to make the game completely.

Let's also look at the technical side: You have no idea how difficult it is to make mods on an unfinished piece of the Source engine. These constant crashes, glitches and bugs, as well as broken scripts make it very difficult to create modifications.

You tell others to make a HL2 beta because you can't do it yourself. So learn, how to do it! Human is a constantly progressing creature that is constantly learning something new. So you also should learn something new. Are you worse then others? I think not. If you have the desire and patience, then you can create your own HL2 beta. So it's up to you. I don't think anyone will respond to your message and will be making a game for you. But only when you make the beginning of the path, maybe then there will be helpers.

To get a "complete" beta that would take a very long time we have come far from 2003. Mega build is basically the beta at it's best right now but to make it complete with scenes scripts level changes etc that would take a team or if your only one person quite a lot of your time but if your really gonna make your own version of beta you could use the fixed vmfs and learn some of hammers basic and take it from there.

It's impossible. Look at many mods that tried to recreate the whole thing.
I make a mod myself and I'm already starting to see some issues.
Try making it yourself. You'll see why. Maybe you can find some enjoyment doing this. Everything takes time and dedication to be good.
Try not get too influenced by new fresh stuff you've never seen and going big to make a commission.
Commission isn't a good thing to do. These are people you are doing with. People have to worry about tomorrow, they just do what they can in their limited time, especially with no payment. Be thankful of what you've got. Making it yourself feels better than just asking people to.

asking for help is not a crime, nor a bannable offense. he is asking for a freebie? he is, but that's not wrong nor a bad thing. maybe he is new to the forum and doesn't know how modding works. has he stated before:

to samdr0, you can learn it, prisen is right about that. hl2 mapmaking it's not that hard, and coding can be learned in videos on youtube(although not the best option) judging by your post you're not an adult with a job. and even a child, no one has a problem with that, but i recommend doubling the caution in posting here and read the rules properly. anyone is welcomed here not mattering the religion culture. or anything different for anyone else.

Asking for a finished version of the Beta is near impossible at the moment. That's like asking Valve if they could fix the entirety of Half-Life: Source. And that game is a failure beyond comprehension. Look if you want to finish the beta then maybe you can do it in Retail Source Engine, either by yourself or with friends (I recommend using Hammer).
