for now i wish that someone at turtle rock had leaked the 2007 build of l4d1 if someone can leak it pls i just want to play it

Left 4 Dead (at least the PC builds,) weren't sent out on discs to testers.

There was a Steam app shared between L4D and L4D2 for beta testing (no relation to the Left 4 Dead 2 Beta app that was once used for Workshop integration,) but after the testing was done the app was deleted from Steam (both times.) It is unclear if they sent this app to anyone or if it was just for downloading it at trade shows.

The odds of a PC build leaking is very minimal.
