This version of book was meant for internal use only to be checked and corrected of any misconceptions and errors by its authors and supervisors.
One the copies of that book was offered for sale in 2016 and was bought by one of the fans, whose later made public scan of it.
This version of book made in soft cover, almost 100 pages thicker that original and contains more information about first Half-life
and never seen before concept arts and other materials about Half-life 2.
