E3 2002 Map Pack

E3 2002 Map Pack is a pack of fixed maps that were supposed to be shown on E3 2002 presentation. The presentation was cancelled and we only seen few screenshots and portions of gameplay from those maps. Fortunately almost all maps that were made for that presentation are in the stolen WC-mappack, so I was able to fix them back in 2010.
Here's a list of those maps:

Hello,

I was wandering if anybody has a fix for the map e3_lab or e3_lab_2002, or if , by any change someone has a working version of the old beta lab map which was with barney and kleiner only.  I have the leaknet and allthe fixes  and most of the maps are working just fine except the lab map. Thank you

The problem is with the model props_c17/tools_vise01a. The model in the archive with e3 2002 maps is the fixed one, and the one in the mega patch v. 3.0 is corrupted and causing crash. So you can re-download the e3 2002 archive and copy this model into props_c17 folder, that should fix it.
The fourth version of Mega Patch will have the fixed version as well.

the map named e3_lab_2002 seems to lack the teleporter room and the thelpoter  itself.
d1_lab_01 did the trick. okay , I will edit my message

And yeah, e3_lab 2002 wasn't supposed to have the teleporter room.

The archive was updated. It's now fully compatible (and in fact will only work with them) with Mega Patch and LeakNet. It is now a standalone mod for LeakNet and must be ran with Mod Launcher. All needed models and stuff are in mod's folder.

Any reason why the areas are separated in e3_town?

Any reason why the areas are separated in e3_town?

Well, I guess Valve had separated those areas because of performance issues. I'm not sure though. On some earlier town vmfs the pond and the town is the same area, for example test_dlights.vmf.
