Check for hl2.exe executable file in your game directory (where ModLauncher.exe is).

You can download a previous version of ModLauncher here. Also, better place for this application (ModLauncher only) issues is here.

You can use just hl2.exe to run a game

Wut? LeakNet works on newer PCs well. And Mega Patch has nothing to do with the leak's engine's workability.

I'm having a weird bug with the anti aliasing where there's red and white lines on stuff unless i'm directly in front of something and it's really bugging me. Is there a fix i could do by changing the config files?

Hi

I keep getting an Access Denied message in some maps, appears to happen randomly though, for instance it happened whilst going through d1_trainstation_05, but then didn't when going as a new map, but crashed again on d1_canals_01.  Any ideas what it could be?  Windows 10 running latest LeakNet as a local admin but not running LeakNet as admin.

I'm new to this website, and i've installed the half life 2 beta, mappack, and megapack. For some reason, Leaknet's website refuses to load, and when it does, and I attempt to download the latest version, it cancels because theres no internet connection. Is anyone else having this problem? My internet connection is just fine, and loads youtube, reddit, and this website like a snap of a finger.

Hi. I want to have beta as close to e3 2003 as possible. In the beginners guide it says download beta and leaknet (should fix things. like deforming floow in map techdemo 02)

But it doesnt fix like that.
Installed Leaknet (tried many versions, old-new)
But still missing things:
*in techdemo 02 deforming floor is not happening
*in phystown swinging metal bar trap starts immediately at the beginning of the map, and missing two rotating wind turbines
*some objects missing from other e3 maps as well

(leaknet brings weapons though. like sniper and machine gun. which I like)

can you help?

Original E3 maps that come with Beta were made for an outdated engine branch, so some things won't work.
To get everything working download this E3 2003 mappack:
