How do you connect a brush from the main map to a brush in the skybox?

For example, the railbridge that extends beyond the horizon in the Wasteland maps. I tried making a simple one from scratch, but I can't figure out the right size and position.

I always compile the map with no vrad and vvis and see where do I need to move objects on the 3d skybox. It takes up to 50 compilations to finally achieve 100% match of everything :D

If you are creating a map from scratch, it's best to make the 3D skybox details in the original size first, place them in the places where they should be visible, put the sky_camera entity at the center of the world. Then, just select all the 3Dsky geometry along with the sky_camera, reduce their scale by 16 times, and move it away from main area, and block it by making a new skybox brushes.
