Nicknine's MDL converter

This tool allows you to convert Source V28-37 models seen in 2003 leaked build of Half-Life 2 to V48 used by Source 2007 and 2013 branches.

The usage instruction is in the readme file of the archive.

Nicknine's MDL converter doesn't seem to work
Here's what I'm typing (<MODFOLDER> is "E:\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\half-life2-003"):

Avoid putting the source models in the target mod's dir, it appears to be causing problems.

So i'm new to modding and i want to do to physcannon and other weapons with mdlconverter but i just don't get it i've tried everything but i still don't know. Can anyone help?

I'm trying to add the old version of the physcannon the one with the missing part and other stuff for modding my HL2

Nevermind i just made a folder called mod_hl2 and gameinfo.txt is only in there

What model are you trying to convert in Retail HL2? As far as I know, all of the old physcannon models have already been ported to 2013 base, and I don't actually recall there being a compile of the super old one with the hl1 hands for the leak.
