When were the first weapon models made?

I'm talking about the world models and view models. I'm going to assume sometime around early 2002. It may seem like a silly question but I am actually wondering.

I don't think we actually know any specific dates or anything, but v_jaytest could be the earliest weapon model we have, I think it could be from 2000 or possibly earlier due to it being low poly and rather incomplete. But the first weapon models besides that are most likely from the hyper era, and 2001 dev period.

I don't know about the models, but the oldest weapon texture dates as far back as 1999 if I recall correctly. I think it was the MP5 texture.
