About the HL2 2001-2002 storyline for the beta.

Well, when I used the LeakNet mod launcher, it went fine. but when I pressed new game, the map loaded but there were no level transitions. and when i went to change the game manually, it did the same exact thing. i wanna know what the problem is asap.

It seems that you're wondering why there aren't any transitions. Simply, the original maps never had them. You can find a list of the maps in order of how the storyline went in the Hl2_2001-2002 Folder, the file is called Maps List.txt Hopefully this helps 

EDIT: If you don't know how to manually switch between maps open the console and type
 "Map *insert map name here*"

Didn't I mention in readme file not to expect level transitions since it's a mappack, not some "old storyline remake mod"?
