Nah, deleted files are usually gone for good after a certain period of time. (after that space gets filled up) Even if you could save some files, there's a high probability that it will be corrupted beyond recognition.

Ok, i contacted him, and unfortunately rottenalp is right, he tried to recover it, but with no avail. He told me that he still has someone that possibly has those files and assets, but he is not sure if he is willing to show it.

Ask him to let them give us the model. The model's been lost to time, and nobody has been able to see it in it's glory. It's our only chance to even SEE the model in 3d. We only have 2 images of it. Plus, it's a part of hl2/valve history. I'm sure they won't mind if they ask them to give the model to us. It's been years, and it's for historical purposes. I wouldn't mind if the gascit model was the only thing he can give. We already have the textures for him. We just need the model.

Lol, you got me, yeah basically that's false. sorry cremation works,but finally someone got the "tips" yeah i'm not a Valve employee neither those "guys" existed. That was a troll/test and i guess that was a fail has it didn't got much attention has i thought would be. Has for the apache helicopter and the "SAS" Model,they are from an addon from garry's mod and the map was DE_Vostok (css remake) again,I'm sorry cremation works for giving you hope on a lost hl2 model. And epic player just please try to give more great arguments on a discussion. That was an horrible argument, things get leaked on forums everytime and doesn't mean that the forum it's obscure that no employee from valve wouldn't  leak something. I forgot to mention, did you never had a passion to something  that you would do anything to know or have it.?
If cremation belived in me that's not the point,but you never had a passion like that too?  (i was like this with EB64.)
