Ok I know I know, yall are probably anoyed from me talking for android versions, but look, I unfortunatly dont have a pc, only an xbox, and my android, but theres a reason why I hope for a half life hammer for android. You see, when I heard about the hammer hl mapping, I was thinking about making maps for the first time, later, even mod it, but until then, I cant. I know its impossible for goldsource for also me to make maps with hammer on xash3d, but, I do hope one day someone can at leasr make an app to where you actually can, just need xash to also test the maps.

I don't think there's any work being done for Hammer on Android, man. Sorry.

What you could do is try to find an x86 emulator for Android, and try running the GoldSrc version on that. I doubt that would work, but there is a chance it could.

I've actually tried this before for shits and giggles.

I used Limbo PC Emulator with a windows 2000 VHD. From there I got Hammer and the hl1 files that were needed to make maps.

Depending on your phone, it may or may not run well at all.

Without an external keyboard and mouse, using it is painful. Also, the small resolution is hard to work with, unless you have some way to run your phone on a bigger display.

Alongside that, I doubt hl1 would run good at all in a VM, so you'd prob have to find a way to export the bsp files to Xash3d outside the VM.

So if your desperate enough to start mapping, you can technically do it on android  :-p

Thx, ill try that, one question though, well 2 actually.
1. What type of windows emulator cd image should I use (I use a tablet that can run very well) because I used limbo to try out the window 98, worked fine but idk how to load the exe files (and also ive been inspired to make half life maps when I saw some of the maps made by a lot of people)
2. Is it alright if you can make a small tutorial? (Im very sorry, ik it may take some of your time from some of your modding or playing the awesome half life and other valve games, but if you do have the time to).

The cd image/.iso file really depends on what OS you're trying to run. (in this case I guess you got a win98 iso, and installed it.) What .exe files are you trying to load: the install, or hammer? (or something else.)

As for the tutorial, idk If I'll make one any time soon, but it could be an interesting video idea for the future.
