Half-Life 2 Beta (2002) no maps?

So on the launcher for the betas, you can launch 2002 but there appear to be no maps. I went to the folder and found no .bsp files.

There are only .vmf files

I'm not sure what to do here.

Can't load any maps either. There is only a menu.

Download https://hl2-beta.ru/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=307 and replace the hl2_2002 folder you have with the one you downloaded. this is a download to a mappack that has all 2002 map's in BSP's and Fixed up.

The Mega Build doesn't come with the 2002 mappack. It only comes with a preset for fixing maps as when it was released, the 2002 maps were still broken. The Mega Build will have them pre-installed after it will get updated so for now you have to download the Mappack separately. Look for "ToastTheFox's 2002 Mappack" on the download section to get the maps and just replace the hl2_2002 folder with it.
