Team Fortress 2 Brotherhood of Arms can tell us how Half Life 2 Looked in 1999

So since Tf2:BOA was stated to be Running on the same Engine as Half Life 2 was back then means that We have Footage of the Source engine from 1999. It looks REALLY Similiar to Gold Source so i Expect that Half Life 2 bassically looked like that Back then.

i'm pretty sure that's how Half-life 2 was in 1999, i would love to play a build from tf2:BOA to be honest it looks just like Arma.

Yep, I think those are confirmed to be pictures from Borealis by Laidlaw.

Im pretty sure its the borealis since i can see the Textures being in the leak. They are used in Borealis Maps

Yeah sorry, I remember him saying they didn't create new maps from scratch for those character photos, but rather reused whatever they had at that time.

I remember that someone had access to that repository in the facepunch forum but I think he got nuked by valve because he started to share left 4 dead, portal & HL2 beta stuff.

The Repo Doesnt have alot of stuff now from Hl2 Beta. Im sure theres maybe some models left, maybe even maps from 1999 but other than that we have pretty much the most stuff. The only likely big thing to be in it is older Source Builds like 2002-2000

From half life 2, yes. But it does have alot of Stuff from Portal. I would want to see an f stop leak
