It appcrashes on with a stackhash error.

I tried normal and fix executables.

My specs: Core2Duo CPU, 2gb RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT (128mb)

(My gpu is dedicated, there is no integrated graphics like intel hd or other)

OS: normally windows7 x32, but to be sure that the error is not due to OS I tried others as well: winXPpro SP3 x32, win10 x32, win10 x64, win7 x64, Yes I did so many formats and os installs. I want this thing to work.

Never had any problem with hundreds of games I ever played on it, including doom 3, doom 3 bfg, other id games, other games, DX games, etc...

Help me run it  !cry

Wasn't e3 demo run on an amd/ati card? Why doesn't it work? How to fix?

(SEE THE ATTACHED SCREENSHOT OF ERROR)

What I tried so far (it didn't work):

*** fixed executables

*** compatibility modes, run as admin

*** DEP exception

*** lots of GL to DX wrappers, they either didn't work, or graphics was crap

*** Different driver versions and different Operating systems (winXPx32, win7x32, win7,x64, win10x32)

id software had always used "only nvidia cards" that is very sad.. but you can not play its game with an other cards.. most of the time..
with rage and its sdk : you must have a nvidia [ even very old] to launch the editor.. that run well with ati..
i like ati because they are very "solids" while nvidia are expensive and not very "very good" ..
build a comp with amd cpu and a second hand nvidia card ..

They used ATI card to demonstrate Doom 3 Alpha on E3 2002 demo, not NVIDIA.
How can you say that id used only nvidia cards?

I have read in a few forums that people are able to run it on their AMD card.

Does anyone here had problem running it and fixed somehow ?

I need a fix to run it.

they use only nvidia cards.. that is known.. but search for carmack + nvidia to get more info..
they also use "open gl" in these games...  if you use an ati or an nvidia : they have 90% of all instructions in common.. or [ in the driver for software rendering used to do "hardware rendering" ]
then some things are made by an ati and not a nvidia .. the opposite is more likely to happen at id software that made doom 3 with nvidia cards only...  some parts of game being playable : some others " not in final product : are more likely to run only on nvidia than ati...than both

I know about id being OpenGL fan, thats known, ok.

But I am saying that, they used ATi Card on E3 2002 demo

People, not all of course, are able to run it on their ATi cards, and

Doom 3 minimum system requirements list bunch of ATi and NViDiA cards.

I wouldn't say that they are somehow more tied to NViDiA, at least not until after Doom 3, for after that I can not say anything.

I am looking for a fix to be able to run it.

I have read in forums over the internet, that when Doom 3 Alpha was leaked, there was a fix for ATi Cards.

I am looking for that, or maybe any other method to make it work.

I believe that it can be fixeable.

Anyone knows a F i X ?   :)
