also I've converted it to PNG using Paint.net
why do we have to use these ridiculous profile pics?

How can you not be sure when there's so many beta mods 'restoring' the old sprite HUD? You've already seen it if you played Missing Information or Insolence or Leaknet, etc.
It's also in Half-Life 2's sprites folder, has been there since release.
