Theoretically, is it even possible to port the megapack to the stream workshop for Half life 2 as a campaign addon? What are the logistics?

well you could port all the maps and models but for dll you need to rework with dll

What would the process entail?

For maps, you would have to open them in hammer and recompile them. There will be many missing textures though.

Ah, there’s no fix for that I’d think, right

there is just dowload the leaked materials and make custom folder then inside the folder name anything you want and then put the materials in folder

- Workshop doesn't support custom binaries in any way. There is no way to "rework with dll" so please don't give out advice if you don't know what you're dealing with. (Workshop also doesn't support custom closecaption files, if anyone wanted to bother with porting scenes)
- VMF is a plaintext format that doesn't have any "different types".
- Maps need to be recompiled, models need to either be recompiled or taken from a bunch of already-existing ports, textures and sounds will work as is.
