would the zombie assassin have a zombified face?

all zombies have a scary bloody face texture because of the headcrab, but the zombie assassin has no face at all if you remove the headcrab. maybe valve didn't finish the texture, or the zombie assassin wasn't meant to have the headcrab removed.

Well, maybe yes, the plan was to keep the headcrab on. But given that this is a beta, and there are a lot of concepts, they hardly considered the assassin as the basis for the zombies.

The texture is obviously unfinished. I doubt Headcrab wasn't supposed to be removable from Zombie Assassin, considering that you can remove them from any zombie even in beta.
