¿Purple Headcrab in a screenshot?

I was looking at magazines from hl-inside.me and I saw this one where there's a screenshot of a scientist and two purple headcrabs.

I believe these are screenshots from the earliest versions of the game, even earlier than Alpha 0.52.

Maybe it’s a feature of the printing press when color distortion occurred and the gray areas on the screenshots turned deep blue or purple.

It's real, not a printing error. There's another magazine with the exact same screenshot and with purplecrabs.
They were initially purple like on concept art, then turned into red and then changed into ((almost)) final design

there no others screenshots with the same headcrabs?

Also, those will have a butthole?
