Best Beta recreation mod?

In your opinions, which is the most accurate mod that recreates the Beta's story? I personally think Insolence is the closest thing, as it sticks to the Beta's content mostly and is more-or-less a direct port to the retail source engine. But that's just me.

Aw thanks dude! I'm not too fond of it though because I rushed Insolence's release and the quality suffered for it.

Anyway, I'd say the best beta mod is Dark Interval. It completely nails the old ideas' atmosphere

Thanks for the suggestion, I like the look of it and I'll try it out later.
And no problem. Insolence is genuinely the only Beta Mod I've played that seems to stick to the beta content rather than use Missing Information assets or something.

I personally like Missing Information and Dark interval.

Leaknet and mega patch are great. But some maps don't work on them so if that happens then use axel project

You should try Missing Information, a mod made in 2008 but it completely fits up the development stuff at valve they made for HL2BETA.

Dark Interval on this time, in old times was more mods but 80% of them are dead.
