You'll just need to apply an upcoming patch. It will be a zip archive, so there will be no need to reinstall the Mega Build entirely.

Patch will be released in a couple days. Meanwhile you can watch the video of Siggraph 2000 demo remake.

What will you see in the patch:
- Siggraph 2000 demo remake (6 new maps in the 2000 Mappack)
- Updated LeakNet. More stable (less crashes) and with increased maxtexinfos parameter. Now it was possible to compile maps like d4_palace_01 with 3d skybox and d1_garage_01_32.
- Many maps were fixed. We fixed a lot of problems we found before.
- Some scripts were changed. A lot of sounds we heard in 2000 Siggraph and E3 2002 videos released by Valve were brought back

My journey with the Half-Life series dates back many years, and I must say that this extensive map pack and Story Leak have been incredibly helpful to me. I’m eagerly looking forward to your upcoming release of the Get Your Free TV! content 

I also have a question I downloaded the e3_2002 map from the HL2 beta maps section and placed it in the anon-hl2 folder. However, when I launched the game, I noticed some textures appearing pink. I have Mega Patch 5.0 installed. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Lastly, I hope you’ll surprise us with a new Beta Mega Build as a gift to kick off 2025. Thank you for your hard work

I downloaded the e3_2002 map from the HL2 beta maps section and placed it in the anon-hl2 folder. However, when I launched the game, I noticed some textures appearing pink. I have Mega Patch 5.0 installed. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

Currently E3 2002 mappack from downloads section is very outdated. Mega Build have Toast the Fox's fix from 2020 which is more recent, but it's still outdated because it is based on older texture and models remakes.
It had some missing textures, but the patch I posted above have them packed.

The map is titled demo_gyftvs, and you can try running it in the game to see how it works. I tested it myself, and it’s a great effort overall, though there are some bugs and occasional crashes 

By the way, the Discord link seems to be broken. I’m also eagerly looking forward to seeing the Storyline Improvements mods in the future 

Once again, thank you for your hard work.. Maybe Mod can do A featuring City 17 Ambiance SFX would also be amazing
