I wondered why they were deleted. The Male models weren't, and some older models were kept. What exactly happened to them? Do you think they exist somewhere, floating around the internet?

My theory is that they had older animations skeleton, just like all of the male characters models had. And some time before E3 2003 they started redoing it and those models were temporarily removed from the game.
They were still in the game just few weeks before E3 2003 however, as one of them can be seen on this screenshot

They were probably the same as in retail, just with a different suit. I bet that someone can recreate these models very quickly without major problems.
