Half-Life 2 Source Code 2004

Hello world. I have a question. Somebody have the first official release of source code, that was published in 2004 when Half-Life 2 was released. "I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT SOURCE ENGINE 2003 LEAK". I would like to find it for remaking Half-Life: Source on this Source Engine 2004 branch. Can you help me?

I think the earliest you can find is 2006, as far as I know Valve never officially released the source code until then. There might be some shady links here and there that might have the release code.

They did release the SDK in 2004 through Steam.

Why lay out the Half-Life 2 collectors edition and say that there is source code there, if there is no source code, and even take this mod from Universal Union.
