This is one of mods for the leak I work on. The idea of it is to restore full City 17 chapter from the old Half-Life 2 storyline playable so you can make your way from industrial area near train station to Kleiner's lab with no map loading from console.
Here's maps list of the chapter and a little description of how much is left to do on each map:
d1_garage_01 - industrial area with different factories and an APC repair garage. d1_garage_01_32.vmf is taken as a base vmf for this map. It's 99% ready, only few things left to improve there. Because of entity limit in the leak I had to split factory chasm area into a separate map, which was named "d1_garage_03"
d1_garage_02 - sewers under factory area which leads to a building burnt from the inside. d1_garage_02_03.vmf is taken as a base vmf for this map. It is 100% ready.
d1_terminal_01 - a train station square with a scenic view on the city from train station roof and catwalks on the opposite building. d1_terminal_01_40.vmf is taken as a base vmf for this map, with portions of the map copied from e3_terminal. it's 95% ready, some final things is left to do with the 3d skybox.
d1_c17_02 - this map is missing in the WC mappack, only small portions of the map can be found on few map sources of c17_01 and c17_03. I will have to do this map from scratch. Currently only a raw prototype is ready.
d1_c17_03 - an area of the city near downtown with few construction sites. c17_03_08.vmf is taken as a base vmf for this map, but I might will do this map from scratch, since the only map source we have is very old and bad looking.
d1_c17_04 - City 17 downtown. Many skyscrapers and a consulcast device can be found on this map. c17_04_41.vmf is taken as a base vmf for this map. 90% is ready, as I only need to finish passers by scripts and maybe change the 3d skybox a bit.
d1_c17_05 - Manhack Arcade and a outdoor area behind it with an abandoned radio tower. And before you ask, yes, you will be able to control a manhack. You will see
. The map is compilation of portions from different map sources, the arcade itself is taken from a hidden vis group from arcade_05.vmf. About 50% of map is ready, there's still pretty much stuff to do there.

d1_steam_01 - sewers and steam tunnel under the streets, leading to Kleiner's lab. subt.vmf is taken as a base vmf for this map. It is 99% ready as it needs small improvements.
d1_lab_01 - old story line's Kleiner's lab. kleiner.vmf is taken as a base vmf for this map. I had to split the map on 2 due to HL2 beta's entity limitations. The map is ready, but I might will change wasteland area on it and also the scene itself needs some improvements.
Currently the mod's developement is on halt due to lack of free time.
