Old weapon icons

[Poison zombie]

Were they supposed to appear like they do in Half Life 2 Beta Minimalist Mod? Or always show the names of the weapons? Also, they were probably gonna be used throughout 2001-2002
I'm talking about the w_icons1.vtf - w_icons3.vtf icons, and am also thinking of posting some things to replace all the current weapon icons with the old ones
