2022-2023 Valve repo leaks

So sometime today or yesterday, this thing showed up and it's been getting a lot of attention. Apparently it's the first iteration of the physics gun/gravity gun, the same version seen in concept art of Eli Maxwell.
I've got to know if this is legitimate or not. Where did it come from if it's real?

half life 2 in the hyper era didnt use goldsource. they had ivp physics implemented into source back then.

Also, which medkit do you mean? Half-Life 2 leak or Half-Life 2 retail? Is there somewhere that I can actually view all the content that got released? I don't have a Discord. It would be great to get this stuff documented ASAP like on Valve Archive.

Looks very retro futuristic. I can imagine why they changed though it doesn't look like it'd be as iconic as the modern gravity gun
