How do I screen-share the mega build?

I want to screen-share the half life 2 beta mega build to my friends for fun but whenever I try it just shows my desktop background instead of the actual game, is there anyway to fix this?

Try get the window mode in hl2 beta, and do this: WIN+SHIFT+S, or try the F5 and open it in VTFEdit or other, and save.
