Source Particle Benchmark crash

so i want to launch SPB with the included hl2.exe  but it crashes.  i dont wanna use the bat file so any fixes would be fine

Are you using the one from our site? Because it comes with the small fix that let's you run it.

    the retail hl2 maps crash it
