Half-Life 2 Beta boot screen Freezes

Guys. I have a problem

When I minimize the window with Half-Life 2 Beta, when I expand the game, it gives a loading screen that does not disappear at all. I can't connect to other windows. Only restarting the computer helps to turn off the boot screen along with the game. So I have it going on for a few days when I go into beta

Is there any way to solve this problem???

unfortunately no.
but you may use the trick as soon as you restart your pc (if its running many stuff in the background such as steam) it give you an option to "force restart" or "cancel" as soon it appears immediately click on cancel and that will stop the restart and its gonna close half life 2 beta with it.

Try to close down the game using the task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del).
Or better, just avoid the bug entirely by running the beta in an maxed-out borderless window by adding the -window -noborder arguments to the launcher. When you run it like that the bug just doesn't happen and it lets you minimize the game no problem.

If you have LeakNet patch installed you can put
-windowed -noborder
in the Mod Launcher under Start button
