NPC Spawning

i followed what odddoc said about spawning npcs. enter "developer 1" in the console and reload, but even when i did that, npcs were still invisible. and i have leaknet and megapatch installed.

i dont know if its me but odddoc post doesn't work
but there is a russian post that works so basically this post is just me translating in english (just for those that does't understand russian)
the steps:
1-spawn your npc (npc_create npc_{the name of the npc ingame files})
2-save your game
3-load your saved game (if you notice a text on the screen says "ai disabled..." then type in the console command "ai_disable 0")
sidenote: you need the megabuild hl2 beta installed

Alternatively, instead of "save game / load game", one can use the "reload" console command
