Option to delete your reply or topic

i know that admins can close topics.
but i kindly ask yall project beta team , will there ever be an option to delete your own topics or replies because i accidentally made a pointless blank reply in the 2022-2023 repo leaks topic

There was such an option for everyone, but we removed it after few instances when few users had abused this ability. There was few times when important threads about something disappeared when their creators had breakdown or something else, and when they had second thoughts and wanted to restore it it was too late.

So personally I think it will be better if moderators just remove such posts for you.

Makes sense, but I think there should be some kind of time frame where you can delete a post you've made within around 6 hours. Maybe even just one hour or 30 minutes, like how there's a 24 hour window where you can edit your posts.

If I wanted to delete a reply / post i would just edit it to say "[DELETED]"
