it looks like a 3d version of the Codename Gordon map.
It's from the e3 2003 game demonstration.

The map seen here is e3_techdemo_6. Also in the E3 2002 Mappack there is a very similar map called e3_town [which is larger than the one from E3 2003].

Don't like HL2 beta actually. But the visualization is pretty cool tho.

theres not much besides the dock's scripted sequence and a cut off unused side of ravenholm
