Fate of the half life 2 beta characters

Come to think of it, do we know anything about fate of the beta characters (exept for Kliner ) ? What happened to odell in cracken base, or what happened to captain vance after we broke to the citadel... or even barney and alyx or eli maxwell...

For Odell, he was supposedly in the streetwars chapter but don't quote me on it. As for captain Vance, his fate is unknown

Why you are so sure in Kleiner's death? We only have Barney's voice line from the old storyline ("Oh Doc, you poor sap") and Alyx's one from the pre-release storyline ("Oh no. Poor Dr. Kleiner."). Both of them prove nothing.

Eli maxwell and captain vance fused together to make eli vance, but we don't know how they would fuse together, I am assuming they fused via failed teleportation like how gordon's teleport failed in the retail.

You got your facts completely wrong there. It was Kleiner (then-Cohrt) and Lamarr who were to fuse together through teleport malfunction, producing the first zombie to be encountered in the game, and we would beat them to death with the fire exstinguisher which, in turn, we would aquire on Hyperboria, after we make our escape from the Inner City.

There is one map for vertigo that I played while back in incolence mod. When i got on the other half of the crashed helicopter i saw odell, vance, barney, conscript and 2 citizens dead. This is fake right? Is it fan-made?

I think it was fan made. As in the original map, there were conscripts only. And Odell was nowhere to be found.

I know of one guy from d1_terminal_01 who was apart of the Resistance though he has no official name. Come to think of it I don't think he even has a name (Maybe in the files he does). He was to help Gordon freeman but while taking him to Barney two Metropolice arrest him!

I also know of Manvridge and Peter's two Conscript soldiers that appear in sniper_029.

There's Nigel that was also cut from Episode Two.

But that's all I know !
