The administration of Half-Life 2 Project Beta wishes you Happy New Year
The outgoing 2024 was an interesting and eventful year for all fans of Half-Life's cut content.

Without a doubt, the main event for beta fans was the release of  the 2000 and 2002 Half-Life 2 video demos. We finally saw with our own eyes what the"Free TVs" looked like! What the game looked like in 2000, what it sounded like in 2002. Tons of content to analyze and restore.

Also, let's not forget about mods. Alfeos completed the development of his Town mod and posted, among other things a version for Coterminus. Raising the Bar: Redux posted a demo of Division 3. And the authors of Dark Interval finally shared part 2 of their mod.

And of course, in the outgoing year you finally recieved new versions of the Mega Patch and Mega Build of the Half-Life 2 beta. nd to sweeten the New Year's pill for you even more, we are ready to present you with a patch for the Mega Build, in which many problems were fixed, and also additional content was added - a remake of the Siggraph 2000 demo, the infamous "Free TVs".
