i found some photos in the alpha half life so...
maybe were some early weapon icons.

I'm pretty sure they were. There's a developer demo file that shows these icons in action. Marphy has a video of the demo on his channel that shows them.

My antivirus went berserk when I viewed this page, and I assume it's because of the broken images and where they lead back to.
