Has the HL2 leak (specifically source engine) ever been ported to Linux based platforms. I want to anon-hl2 on a Raspberry PI 4 (or if that is not possible Ubuntu on x86_64). My initial idea was to run it in Xash3d however I have yet to try that as the source code found in this thread appears to have a makefile. I am awaiting the completion of the download of the source so I have yet to try either method. I am still posting this just to be sure there is not already a port / guide to compilation to linux.

I took a look in Makefiles (such a mess lol), and I think that full hl2 port wasn't even planned. Valve planned to port dedicated server only. But it's impossible to build with modern compilers, and it would take a lot of time and nerves to make this build on older compilers and run stable without crashes.

It could perfectly compile on modern compilers, what are you talking about? You can look at the LeakNet's Linux branch on GitLab

I was talking about original leaked codebase, not about LeakNet.
(P.S: your link gives me 404; Sorry, didn't notice that repository have restricted access)

The original source code needs just slight changes to the makefiles and actual code, to be able to build the projects just fine
