City 17 chapter mod

So i downloaded the mega build for half life 2 beta and i tried out the city 17 mod,the beginning looked well and all but after i left the child factory complex the game crashed,it crashes every time i try to get out of the factory.

Don't create a new thread when the one about this mod exists. I combined your thread with it.
Now about the crashes - read readme.txt, sadly there's nothing we can do about them for now. Maybe eventually VXP will fix the issue.

I do not want to provoke, but I never heard of the release of the maps. My last question of it was in 2016 or maybe first month of 17. Anyway, it sounds interesting with used tracks from two of the best games on earth. Yeah right after hl2^^ I am exited why 2 and not from 1 and which ones were used. Thank you for sharing!

Whenever I try to play the city 17 mod I can play up to the 2nd loading point, once I get there it just crashes. This happens every time. Can someone help me with this?

You should start by reading the readme file or the download description up to the part where it says "this transition crashes and there is no solution" and load next map via console.

There is a solution, just download the newest build LeakNet 1.0 and apply it to your beta

Can someone help me how to play city 17 mod? I don't know where I put the files to play

extract the mod folder onto your hl2 beta folder (where the hl2.exe file and others are)

also it requires to have the megapatch and leaknet patch installed

Every time i go on the city17 mod and when i exit from the part where it was showing the child workers
it shows a loading screen then it crashes

this explains the vulnerability of the half life 2 beta engine, even patched with leaknet
